Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Production Manager to lead a multi-shift manufacturing operation with a customer-specific focus. You will drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People (SQDCP) metrics by coordinating shifts, developing frontline supervisors, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement to meet on-time delivery goals.

The role partners with P&O, EHS, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and Maintenance to align site and business

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business or related field required.
5+ years of progressive manufacturing or production leadership experience.
Experience leading a large team in production environment.
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel/Access) and strong math skills.

Responsibilities

Execute against customer commitments, production schedules, and throughput targets.
Develop, coach, and support supervisors and frontline teams to strengthen leadership capability and engagement.
Solve problems during the production process and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrences.
Monitor KPIs and address performance gaps proactively.
Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement to increase safety, reduce cycle times, eliminate waste and increase throughput.
