Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Sr. Quality Manager in Macon, GA to lead quality programs across manufacturing and operations. You will guide teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure AS9100 compliance.

This onsite role requires coaching staff, managing CAPA and root-cause investigations, applying Lean tools, and partnering with Engineering and Production to deliver fault-free products.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading teams in quality, manufacturing, or operations.
• Experience resolving non-conformances and CAPA.
• Experience with AS9100/AS9110 standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality function, reflect leadership behaviors and accountability.
• Coach employees to build a motivated team and proactively address performance issues.
• Lead Lean process improvements to enhance quality.
• Implement root-cause corrective actions to maintain quality standards.
• Meet and track operation schedule for quality functions and execute contingency plans.
• Modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation, control systems and protocols.
• Evaluate technical data and work instructions in support of Engineering and Operations.
• Identify and manage risk using UPPAP core elements (PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow, Control Plans).
• Conduct investigations and develop corrective action recommendations for nonconformities.
• Develop proactive quality initiative strategies and drive their implementation.
• Promote the Quality culture through QMS compliance and adherence to Quality Cardinal Rules.
