Job summary

RTX is hiring a Sr. Quality Manager for the Pratt & Whitney Columbus Engine Center in Georgia. The role leads the quality function for F100 and F117 BX/CX inspection teams, focusing on process improvement, RCCA, and data-driven decision making to sustain quality and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 10 years leading teams, quality or manufacturing or operations and continuous improvement (or Advanced Degree with 7 years).
• Experience leading product or process non-conformance investigations (DIVEs).
• Root Cause and Corrective Action experience.
• Experience with AS9100/AS9110 standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality improvements using Lean strategies to enhance quality.
• Implement root-cause corrective actions in a timely manner.
• Meet and track the operation schedule for quality functions, while maintaining a quality product and contingency plans.
• Modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation, control systems and protocols.
• Evaluate technical data and work instructions in support of Engineering and Operations.
• Identify and manage risk using UPPAP core elements (PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans).
• Conduct investigations, provide analysis and develop corrective actions for nonconformities.
• Develop proactive quality initiative strategies and drive their implementation.
• Promote the Quality culture in the business and adherence to QMS.
