Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is collaborating with Manistee manufacturers to identify experienced Quality Managers. The role focuses on building and maintaining QMS, leading quality teams, and driving product quality from raw materials to finished goods.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Quality Management and have 7+ years in manufacturing QA/QC, with hands-on ISO 9001/AS9100/IATF 16949 experience. Salary range is $88,000–$134,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in quality assurance/quality control within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience implementing and managing Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
• Strong ability to lead and mentor quality teams and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) per ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
• Lead and manage a team of quality professionals, providing guidance, training, and evaluations.
• Oversee inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for spec adherence.
• Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, root cause investigation, and CAPA.
• Manage customer feedback and complaints, ensuring timely resolutions and corrective actions.
• Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality throughout the product lifecycle.
• Establish and monitor key quality metrics and KPIs.
