Prysmian Group Sedalia, MO is seeking a Quality Manager to lead aluminum building wire quality operations. You will manage a team of technicians, ensure conformance to specifications, and drive improvements across the plant as part of the North American I&C Regional Quality Manager oversight.

The role requires a technical degree and 5+ years in manufacturing quality management, with ISO 9001, auditing, and metrological expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience managing in a manufacturing facility.
• Strong preference for mechanical engineering and/or metallurgy background.
• Ability to understand the technical needs of customers and communicate them effectively.
• Internal nonconformities management.
• Sound computer skills, comfortable with a variety of software applications.
• Wire and cable experience a plus.
• Six Sigma and ASQ certifications are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Leading and developing a team of quality technicians with coaching and performance management.
• Assuring products conform to specifications and customer requirements.
• Developing and implementing quality control standards, processes, and controls.
• Directing the implementation and maintenance of the Quality System.
• Leading quality process audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Leading and implementing system audits of the plant's QMS.
• Leading product audits to ensure design and process conformance.
• Reviewing plans for inspection, testing, sampling, and training.
• Evaluating production capabilities via quality KPIs and driving CAPA actions.
