Job summary

Prysmian Group in Lincoln, RI, is seeking a Quality Manager to lead QA/CI efforts, ensure products meet specifications, and support ISO 9001 accreditation. You will work with the Plant Management Team to drive quality improvements and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 2+ years in quality engineering in manufacturing, strong Lean Sigma and leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Wire/cable experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in quality engineering working in manufacturing environment.
• Supervisory skills in a team-based environment.
• Experience with ISO 9001 audits and external audits.
• Six Sigma knowledge or certification a plus.
• Wire and cable experience a plus.
• ASQ Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement programs to ensure product quality.
• Supports the plant’s Continuous Improvement program.
• Manages and directs testing throughout all processes.
• Interfaces with customers and regulatory bodies during audits.
• Investigates field issues and customer returns to prevent recurrence.
• Maintains the Quality Management System and conducts external audits.
