Job summary

Prysmian in McKinney, TX, seeks a senior Quality Manager to lead the aluminum and copper building wire operations in North America. You will drive the plant's QMS, quality audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure product conformance and customer satisfaction.

As a senior member of the McKinney Management Team, you will collaborate cross-functionally, mentor technical staff, and interact with customers and North America HQ for policy and process alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience managing in a manufacturing facility.
• Strong preference for mechanical engineering and/or metallurgy backgrounds.
• Ability to understand the technical needs of customers and communicate.
• Internal nonconformities management.
• Sound computer skills with various software applications.
• Wire and cable experience a plus.
• Six Sigma certification a plus.
• ASQ certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of quality technicians with coaching and technical guidance.
• Ensure products conform to Prysmian specifications and customer standards.
• Develop and implement quality control standards, processes and controls.
• Direct implementation and maintenance of the Quality System (QMS).
• Lead quality process audits and drive continuous improvement across operations.
• Audit systems and products to meet governing standards and customer expectations.
• Review inspection, testing, sampling, and training plans and methods.
• Evaluate production capabilities via quality KPIs and drive CAPA actions.
• Promote a quality culture and ensure effective communication with customers.
