Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Quality Analyst to oversee testing of wires and cables, support calibration of testing equipment, and compile statistical data to ensure product quality. This role supports ISO and Nuclear programs and reports to the Quality Manager.

The successful candidate will have hands-on testing experience in wire and cable, strong analytical skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with wire and cable testing, fiber optic, nuclear, flame testing, electrical and mechanical testing.
• Associates degree minimum; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to drive projects.

Responsibilities

• Confers with Engineering to interpret specifications and ensure testing.
• Lead associates to perform required testing and report quality data.
• Interact with customers, inspectors and auditors as needed.
• Update claim sheets and dashboards.
• Coordinate corrective actions.
• Support Continuous Improvement projects and 6S events.
• Serve as internal auditor for Willimantic and other NA facilities.
