Job summary

Prysmian Group in McKinney, TX, seeks a Quality Manager to lead the plant's quality program for Low Voltage building wire. You will guide a team of technicians, ensure compliance with specifications and ISO 9001, and drive continuous improvement across processes and audits.

You will interact with customers and North America HQ, shape the quality culture, and implement corrective actions with measurable KPI outcomes to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards (ASTM, UL, ICEA) and ISO 9001.
• Six Sigma and/or ASQ certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of quality technicians, coaching with the See-Do-Teach method.
• Ensure products conform to Prysmian and customer specifications and quality levels.
• Develop and implement QC standards, processes, and controls.
• Direct implementation and maintenance of the Quality System (QMS).
• Lead quality audits (process, system, product) and drive continuous improvement.
• Evaluate production capabilities via quality KPIs and drive corrective actions.
• Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Engage with customers and North America HQ on product quality and service.
