Job summary

Prysmian USA Sedalia plant seeks a Quality Manager to lead the quality team and drive continuous improvement across low-voltage building wire operations. You will oversee quality systems, audits, and customer interactions to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and product specifications.

The role emphasizes manufacturing quality leadership, problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration with customers and North America HQ to ensure product excellence and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience managing in a manufacturing facility
• Mechanical engineering or metallurgy background preferred
• Six Sigma certification and ASQ certification a plus
• Strong communication and leadership across cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of quality technicians and engineers
• Ensure all products conform to specifications and customer quality levels
• Develop and implement quality control standards, processes and controls
• Direct the implementation and maintenance of the Quality System (ISO 9001)
• Lead quality process audits and continuous improvement across the plant
• Oversee product audits to meet governing standards and customer expectations
• Review inspection plans, testing methods, and training programs
• Drive corrective and preventive actions using verification and validation methods
• Promote a culture of quality and customer satisfaction across the organization
• Interact with customers and North America HQ for information exchanges
