Job summary

Carrier in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Manager, Quality to lead the site's Quality Management System, ensure regulatory/compliance, and drive continuous improvement. You will partner with Manufacturing, Engineering and Supply Chain to improve product quality and reduce COPQ, while preparing for ISO audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of quality management experience or Master’s degree and 5+ years of quality management experience
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate quality improvement projects
• Implement and sustain quality tools into daily manufacturing culture (5S, Standard Work, Root Cause Analysis, PDCA, etc.)
• Analyze operational data, identify opportunities for process optimization, quality improvement, and cost savings
• Develop and implement standard work procedures, improve consistency and reduce variability in operations
• Educate lower-level and peer employees on how to apply quality tools and methodologies
• Coach on quality control procedures to evaluate products
• Partner with Operations and Engineering to improve process capability and product quality
• Prioritize safety and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Lead audits (customer, ISO 9001, ASME) from the quality perspective
• Support NPI, process validation, and risk management including FMEA and control plans
