Job summary

Chromalox is seeking a Sr. Quality Manager to lead the quality assurance program in a manufacturing setting, ensuring products meet customer and regulatory requirements. You will drive robust QMS, continuous improvement, and a culture of quality across the organization.

Responsibilities include developing ISO 9001-2015 and ASME-compliant QMS, leading audits, CAPA, and collaborating with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or related field.
• 10+ years in quality management in discrete manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing quality team.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001-2015, Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, ITAR exposure.
• Proficiency with FMEA, 8D, A3, RCA, CAPA.
• Experience with ERP and QMS systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with SPC software, CMM, MS Office, MS Dynamics ERP a plus.
• Certifications such as CQE, CQM/OE, or Six Sigma belt preferred.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Leads Quality System Management activities, including risk assessments, document control, customer complaints, corrective actions, audits, calibration.
• Develops and maintains the QMS aligned with ISO 9001-2015 and other standards.
• Develops and maintains ASME and national board QMS alignment.
• Ensures QA/QC processes across production lines, including inspections and testing.
• Monitors quality metrics and drives CAPA to root causes.
• Collaborates with engineering, production, and supply chain to resolve quality issues.
• Manages NCRs, customer complaints, and supplier quality.
• Oversees calibration/maintenance of inspection/test equipment.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and standards.
• Trains and mentors staff in quality procedures and continuous improvement.
• Presents quality performance reports to senior leadership.
• Leads internal and external audits including customer/regulatory audits.
