Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Quality Production Engineer for Generator Final Assembly in the Pensacola area. You will drive product quality and process excellence across final assembly operations, partnering with engineering, fabrication, supply chain, and EHS to eliminate defects and improve first-pass yield.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/manufacturing/industrial engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years manufacturing/quality experience and leading quality initiatives.
• Experience supporting heavy industrial manufacturing and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance activities for Generator Final Assembly and drive a safety-first, quality-focused culture.
• Monitor FPY, COPQ, defect rates, and drive CAPA with data-driven actions.
• Provide quality support for rotor/stator assembly, testing readiness, and customer release packages.
• Develop control plans, process flow diagrams, and standard work; validate processes and audits.
• Interface with suppliers and customers for quality investigations and verification.
