Job summary
GE Vernova in Pensacola, FL seeks a QMS Lead Quality Production Engineer to drive QMS execution and continuous improvement in gas power manufacturing. You will ensure regulatory and customer quality requirements are met while leading defect prevention and process capability.
You will partner with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, EHS and Quality teams to develop controls, reduce non-conformances, improve first pass yield, and mentor shop-floor personnel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or equivalent experience with extensive manufacturing knowledge.
- Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing/quality within a regulated environment.
- Experience supporting complex industrial manufacturing operations and ISO 9001.
- Leading quality improvement initiatives and problem-solving using structured methods.
Responsibilities
- Lead Quality Management System execution and continuous improvement in manufacturing.
- Oversee ISO 9001 compliance, audits, CAPA, and non-conformance management.
- Drive defect prevention, FPY improvement, and process capability studies.
- Mentor shop-floor personnel and lead cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain).
