Jobgether is hiring a Senior Software Quality Engineer for a remote-first, international team. You will own end-to-end quality strategy for a cloud platform, building scalable automated testing for backend services and UIs, and integrating quality checks into CI/CD pipelines.

You will work with engineering and product teams in a distributed setting, using AI-assisted workflows to enhance test coverage and defect detection.

Formación

• Seven+ years in QA or software testing, incl. senior level.
• Hands-on with Go, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Experience designing/maintaining automated test frameworks.
• CI/CD integration with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
• Experience using AI tools for software quality activities.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and distributed systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and maintenance of scalable automated testing frameworks for backend and UI.
• Define comprehensive test strategies aligned with product objectives.
• Collaborate early with engineering and product to improve testability and standards.
• Identify reliability risks in design discussions and suggest improvements.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Perform exploratory testing to catch edge cases and regressions.
• Use AI tools to review code and design docs, and automate tests.
• Manage multiple projects with competing priorities in a fast-paced startup.
• Investigate complex backend/infra issues with systematic debugging.
