Job summary

Jobgether is partnering with a healthcare-focused AI tech team seeking a Lead, Software Quality Assurance in the United States. You will define and drive quality strategy across cloud-native platform services, APIs, and UI, mentoring QA engineers and embedding automation throughout the SDLC.

You will lead test automation, establish quality gates, and ensure release readiness with observability and security controls.

Qualifications

• Five to seven or more years of experience in software quality assurance, quality engineering, test automation, or a related technical discipline.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience automating tests for APIs and backend services (JUnit/TestNG/PyTest).
• UI automation with Cypress or Playwright (where applicable).
• Performance testing with Gatling, k6, or JMeter.
• Contract testing with Pact or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA strategy across platform services, APIs, web interfaces, event-driven workflows, and data pipelines.
• Drive test automation: build and evolve automated testing frameworks for unit, integration, contract, regression, and end-to-end tests.
• Establish CI/CD quality gates and security scanning.
• Embed quality early in development with cross-functional collaboration.
• Validate performance, reliability, and operational risk.
• Mentor QA engineers and develop playbooks, documentation, and training.
