Remote People is hiring an Intermediate QA Automation Engineer for a remote-first team spanning Asia and Europe. You will own test coverage for your squad, contribute to requirements reviews, and accelerate testing using AI tools while maintaining high quality across a SaaS platform.

You’ll join a cross-functional squad with PM, Designer, Front-End, Back-End, and QA Engineers, ensuring robust automation, strong collaboration, and continuous delivery in a global, async environment.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in Quality Assurance or Software Development roles.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or a comparable test automation framework.
• Experience with API testing and automation.
• Familiarity with Jira and Git for issue tracking and version control.

Aufgaben

• Develop automated tests for new features and regression scenarios.
• Conduct functional, integration and regression testing to validate application functionality.
• Triage and report defects from discovery through resolution.
• Monitor and reduce end-user found vs QA found defect ratio.
• Minimize QA impact on release schedules.
• Use AI tools to accelerate test generation and validate outputs.
• Contribute to requirements reviews from a QA perspective.
