Job summary

Ralliant seeks a Sr. Quality Engineer in Elizabethtown, NC to own internal and external quality, reporting to the site Quality Manager. Responsible for audits, quality KPIs, supplier quality, and guiding quality in new product development, with a focus on Lean practices and ISO 9001 standards.

You will lead QA initiatives, mentor engineers, and collaborate across product management, production, development, and operations to ensure high-quality deliverables and sustained improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or technical discipline.
• 6+ years of quality engineering experience.
• Lean Manufacturing experience required.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Ability to lead audits and drive corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA initiatives, define QA strategies and test methodologies.
• Mentor Quality Engineers and foster a culture of quality.
• Generate and report internal and external quality KPIs.
• Collaborate with product management, production, development and operations to align quality objectives.
• Plan and execute internal process and product audits and implement actions.
• Lead external audits and represent quality in project teams.
• Develop and maintain quality plans for existing and new products.
• Participate in qualification test matrices for product launches.
• Support supplier quality management and DFMEA/PFMEA for processes and products.
• Provide Quality leadership to manufacturing to meet customer expectations.
