Job summary

Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Quality Engineer to lead root cause investigations and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing. You will mentor quality staff and partner with suppliers, customers and cross-functional teams in Concord, NC to prevent quality issues.

The role requires APQP/PPAP leadership, QMS ownership (IATF 16949/ISO 9001), and strong statistical/problem-solving skills to improve scrap and COPQ metrics.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years quality engineering in manufacturing (auto/vehicle).
• Proven IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 experience and APQP/PPAP leadership.
• Strong problem-solving and statistical analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead root cause analyses (8D, 5-Why, fishbone) for nonconformances and complaints.
• Drive containment, disposition, and resolution with Production and Supply Chain.
• Develop and maintain QMS artifacts: control plans, PFMEAs, PPAP readiness.
• Represent quality on NPI/APQP teams and support customer-facing quality programs.
