Job summary

The role requires collaboration with operations, engineering, suppliers, and customers to prevent defects and resolve root-cause issues.

You will lead audits, review defects, and implement containment and long-term solutions while adhering to ISO 9000 and IATF 16949 requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Automotive industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with molding, assembly, or production processes.
• Experience with PFMEAs, control plans, and corrective actions.
• Proficient in 8D and 5-Why problem solving.
• Familiarity with ISO 9000 and IATF 16949 systems.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, and GD&T.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support quality planning, process validation, and production readiness.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Review nonconforming material and customer concerns.
• Conduct audits to verify compliance.
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and supplier teams to improve yield and quality docs.
