Job summary

Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc (CVG) is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer to lead corrective actions, sustain IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 compliance, and support daily manufacturing operations in Indiana. You will engage on the plant floor, perform problem solving, and drive cross-functional improvements with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.

You will conduct Gage R&R, MSA, GD&T interpretation, and CPPAs, while supporting APQP activities for new programs.

Qualifications

• Experience with APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans and PPAP submissions.
• Strong GD&T and blueprint interpretation skills.
• Knowledge of Gage R&R, MSA and capability studies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive CAR/8D processes from containment to permanent corrective action.
• Perform root cause analysis and lead Kaizen activities for defect reduction.
• Support PPAP submissions and maintain PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flows.
• Interface with customers and suppliers on quality issues and audits.
