Job summary

Relyans Max. is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product and process compliance with customer, internal, and regulatory requirements.

You will manage customer concerns, lead root-cause investigations, initiate corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. The role interfaces with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve quality issues, maintain documentation, and support compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and / or five years quality control experience in an automotive industry environment, or a combination.
• 1+ year of working in the fastener industry highly preferred (or equivalent knowledge of cold forming, cold forging, thread rolling, or thermal processing/heat treatment).
• IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 knowledge.
• Experience with the OEM automotive customer portals highly preferred.
• Knowledge of APQP, SPC, MSA, PPAP, and FMEA.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary Quality contact for customer concerns, ensuring timely receipt, documentation, and resolution.
• Manage and issue RMAs and coordinate with internal teams to support the customer return process.
• Initiate and lead corrective actions (CARs) with internal teams and customers, ensuring root cause identification and timely closure.
• Support internal manufacturing processes by quarantining nonconforming material and driving investigations.
• Identify and lead improvement initiatives across products, processes, and systems using data and cross-functional collaboration.
• Provide quality assurance support for production and engineering in alignment with standards.
