Job summary

Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc (CVG) is seeking a Corporate Quality Engineer to drive product and process quality across our manufacturing facilities. You will lead root-cause investigations, mentor junior engineers, and ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 while supporting new product launches and supplier quality concerns.

You will serve as a technical resource for customer-facing quality issues, manage audits, and develop corrective action plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing) and 5–7 years of quality engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 QMS and APQP/PPAP processes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead root cause investigations and 8D, 5-Why, and fishbone analyses for internal nonconformances and customer issues.
• Maintain and improve QMS per IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001; support audits and corrective actions.
• Represent Quality on cross-functional NPI teams and ensure PPAP deliverables meet timelines.
• Mentor junior quality engineers and technicians; train staff on quality tools and procedures.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to reduce COPQ and defects.
