Job summary

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Quality Engineer III to provide software testing, data collection and analysis, and mentorship supporting a large multi-year contract for the IPPS-A Army Military Payroll program. The role involves manual and potential automated testing of PeopleSoft HCM deliverables and gathering test metrics for reports to senior management and Army client.

The position requires a Secret clearance, US citizenship, and a hybrid work location (2 in-office days per week in Crystal

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 4-6 years federal government, DoD, Army, or IC and/or private sector experience preferred.
Certifications in IAT Level II and SAFe for Teams preferred.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong interpersonal/communication skills. US Citizenship and Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

Develops reusable test functions or components.
Executes manual and potentially automated tests to assess software functionality and performance across multiple systems, platforms, environments, or browsers.
Identifies, logs, and tracks defects.
Reports technical issues to development or product management and verifies fixes.
Performs work under minimal supervision.
Handles complex issues and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
Possesses solid working knowledge of Quality Engineering processes.
Provides leadership, coaching, and mentoring to a subordinate group.
May act as a lead or first-level supervisor.
