Job summary

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Quality Engineer III to conduct quality testing on PeopleSoft HCM deliverables for IPPS-A Army payroll. The role involves manual and possible automated testing, data collection, and metric reporting to IPT leadership and Army client.

You will collaborate across Agile teams and mentor junior staff. Requires a Bachelor’s degree with 4–6 years’ federal or DoD experience, DoD Secret clearance, and experience with ERP/test tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 4–6 years government or private sector experience.
Experience with testing tools such as Azure DevOps, Tosca, ALM, PeopleSoft or Workday.
IAT Level II and SAFe for Teams certifications preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong interpersonal/communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develops reusable test functions or components.
Executes manual and potentially automated tests across multiple systems and environments.
Identifies, logs, and tracks defects.
Reports issues to development or product management and verifies fixes.
Performs work under minimal supervision and handles complex issues.
Provides leadership and mentoring to junior staff; may act as lead.
