Job summary

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Quality Engineer III to perform software testing, data collection and analysis, and provide mentorship within a large multi-year contract for IPPS-A Army Military Payroll. The role focuses on testing PeopleSoft HCM deliverables and delivering test metrics to senior management and Army clients.

The candidate will work in an agile environment, collaborate with Agile Teams, and coach junior staff to ensure quality across AMP program deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4-6 years of experience in federal government or related sectors.
• Experience with software testing tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Tosca, ALM, PeopleSoft or Workday is a plus.
• Certifications in IAT Level II and SAFe for Teams preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong interpersonal/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops reusable test functions or components.
• Executes manual and automated tests across multiple systems, environments, or browsers.
• Identifies, logs, and tracks defects; reports issues to relevant teams and verifies fixes.
• Performs work with minimal supervision; handles complex issues with senior guidance as needed.
• Leads or mentors junior staff; supports Agile teams and program goals.
