Job summary
Anduril Industries in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Quality Engineering Specialist to monitor, inspect, and improve final products to meet stringent standards in a fast-paced defense manufacturing environment.
You will own the MRB process, drive containment of nonconforming parts, review work instructions, support inspectors, and collaborate with engineering and suppliers to enable timely dispositions and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in manufacturing or quality/engineering role.
- Experience in HW development and quality management in manufacturing.
- Proficiency with CAD software and inspection data management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Manage the site MRB process.
- Contain nonconforming materials and drive resolutions.
- Review Manufacturing Work Instructions and provide feedback.
- Support inspectors with clarification or go/no-go decisions.
- Lead containment activities for nonconforming items and verify parts.
- Assist root cause analysis and cross-functional triage.
- Ensure accurate MRB data collection and reporting.
