Zaddy Solutions is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer Lead to support a high-volume manufacturing operation. You will lead quality initiatives, work closely with production, engineering, customers, and suppliers to maintain product quality and resolve issues.

The role requires hands-on plant experience, a solid ISO 9001:2015 background, and the ability to drive corrective actions, develop control plans, and lead audits.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Strong knowledge of root cause analysis, corrective actions, process improvement, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Experience with SPC, capability studies, control plans, PFMEA, MSA/Gage R&R, and quality data analysis.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements.
• Experience with precision measurement and inspection equipment.
• Strong communication skills with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated leadership to drive quality projects.

Aufgaben

• Lead quality engineering activities supporting manufacturing operations and customer requirements.
• Maintain and improve ISO 9001 QMS.
• Investigate quality issues and drive CAPAs.
• Lead root cause analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone, 8D, and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain control plans, inspection procedures, and quality documentation.
• Support quality requirements for processes including heat treating, forging, forming, machining, coating, and fabrication.
• Analyze scrap, defects, rework, and customer complaints to identify improvements.
• Partner with Production and Engineering to improve process capability and reduce variation.
• Lead or support internal, customer, and third-party quality audits.
• Ensure product and material traceability throughout manufacturing.
• Oversee measurement systems, calibration, and inspection equipment.
• Review customer drawings, specifications, and quality requirements for compliance.
• Support new product introductions and process changes from a quality perspective.
• Work with customers to resolve quality concerns and communicate corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to quality technicians and production personnel.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability for quality.
