Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks an established Quality Engineer to drive quality performance across manufacturing and service interfaces. You will influence policy, analyze claims, and lead root-cause actions to improve defect metrics in a global climate solutions environment.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and robust data analysis to sustain quality excellence and efficient resolutions for field operations and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or materials engineering.
• 4+ years in quality management or continuous improvement in manufacturing.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and internal audits is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Protect external quality metrics (claim count, warranty, customer escapes PPM).
• Interface between service, sales/marketing and manufacturing.
• Analyze plant customer claims and triage corrective actions by cost/occurrence.
• Foster continuous improvement culture with field ops managers.
• Support Schedule Q projects to improve customer satisfaction.
• Document and implement containment and corrective actions.
• Summarize and report progress on external quality metrics.
