Job summary
Collins Aerospace in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead hardware and software quality activities within the ATS organization. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100 and drive root-cause analysis and continuous improvement, onsite role requiring FAA clearance.
The role emphasizes collaboration, design reviews, supplier interface, and delivering products that meet requirements.
Qualifications
- Must have University degree with 5+ years or Advanced degree with 3+ years
- U.S. citizenship with FAA clearance or ability to obtain
- Experience with root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Atlassian, CAD or Visio
- Experience with ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hardware, software, electrical and mechanical engineers
- Review technical documentation for conformance to requirements
- Participate in test and evaluation of components and systems
- Perform process and product assessments for compliance
- Interface with suppliers and customers to resolve concerns
- Present requirements verification and product acceptance
- Provide quality expertise for hardware/software issues
- Participate in design reviews for regulatory standards
