Job summary

Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance professional to join the Power and Controls team on Pratt & Whitney Engine Systems programs. The role involves interfacing with global supply chains and executives to communicate ongoing work and initiatives from Windsor Locks, CT, on-site 2–3 days/week with remote work 2 days/week.

The candidate will lead QA processes, influence standards, and manage multiple QA projects with a significant impact.

Qualifications

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
Minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Understand customer requirements and communicate key points to the supply chain for military and commercial programs.
Analyze and develop QA plans, guidelines, policies, and processes to meet quality targets.
Implement projects to continuously improve overall quality.
Provide production process analysis to ensure standards are met and identify improvements.
Collect and analyze quality information to develop quality strategies and programs.
Review quality improvement processes to reduce COPQ and escapes.
Develop and implement program quality plans for new programs and restarts.
