Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Wilson, NC seeks a Sr Supervisor Quality Assurance to lead a team of inspectors and technicians, driving quality and on-time delivery. You will implement CORE improvements, perform root-cause analyses, and ensure Nadcap compliance through audits.

This onsite role requires a strong background in aerospace QA, ERP/MS Office proficiency, and effective team leadership to uphold stringent industry standards.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree and 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience in Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality, or Quality Engineering in a regulated environment.
• Experience with MS Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise QA inspectors and technicians to meet quality and delivery goals.
• Coach and develop QA staff; set expectations and monitor performance.
• Plan, perform and support operations addressing risks and opportunities.
• Support inspection plans, equipment, techniques and resource utilization.
• Perform RRCA on product and process non-conformance.
• Maintain and improve quality control procedures and inspection processes.
• Lead CORE improvement projects and educate shop personnel on procedures.
• Conduct system audits across assigned work centers and ensure Nadcap compliance.
• Oversight of NDT activities and potential certification.
