Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a dedicated Quality Representative to manage customer quality requirements and coordinate investigations across engineering and production. You will lead audits, drive corrective actions, and monitor metrics like defects and yields to ensure program success.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and adherence to ISO 9001/AS9100 quality systems within an onsite environment at our Rome, NY site.

Qualifications

• University degree or advanced degree with 3–5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of root cause analysis, corrective action tools, and quality systems (ISO 9001, AS9100 or similar).

Responsibilities

• Serve as dedicated quality representative for identified customers, maintaining strong communication channels and promptly addressing inquiries, audits, and quality concerns.
• Review, interpret, and ensure compliance with customer-specific quality requirements and flow-downs.
• Lead customer issue investigations including root cause analysis, corrective action development, and formal response management.
• Monitor program performance metrics such as yield, defects, escapes, and process capability; identify trends and propose improvements.
• Lead and participate in internal and customer-driven audits, coordinating actions and driving closure of findings.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Program Management to integrate quality considerations across development, manufacturing, and delivery.
