Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced Mission Assurance professional to join our onsite team in the US. You will lead cross-functional efforts to identify and manage risks, mentor team members, and ensure compliance with mission assurance standards across development, design and test phases.

The role requires a strong background in systems engineering, Six Sigma/lean practices, and collaboration with government stakeholders. U.S. citizenship and security clearance eligibility are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
• Quality Management Systems ISO 9001 or AS9100 experience and adherence.
• Knowledge of Industry and Government Mission Assurance Requirements and Standards.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to coach and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Execute Mission Assurance responsibilities as a member of a program leadership team.
• Identify, contain, and manage programmatic and technical risks across pursuit and execution phases.
• Engage Mission Assurance in engineering development, design and test verification.
