Job summary

AV is seeking a Senior Quality Control Engineer to own the quality program for CUAS components and systems. You will define metrics, develop QA/QC plans, and collaborate across engineering, operations and supply chain to ensure product readiness and conformity throughout the lifecycle.

You will lead DFMEA/DOE analyses, CAPA/MRB processes, and supplier audits, driving continuous improvements and risk reduction while guiding design-for-manufacturing input and PPAP activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 8–12 years of related quality engineering experience.
• Experience with DMAIC, FMEA, APQP, SPC, Gage R&R, and lean methodologies.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9102 and applicable industry standards.
• Strong liaison between Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Proficient in dimensional inspection methods and ASME Y14.5 GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans for CUAS components and systems.
• Define quality metrics, testing methodologies, and inspection procedures.
• Review manufacturing planning to align QC points and data collection.
• Coordinate work with Quality Technicians and inspectors as needed.
• Lead audits and CAPA systems, drive MRB decisions and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering to input DFMEA/DFM considerations for quality.
