AeroVironment is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to own product and process quality across the lifecycle. You will develop QA/QC plans, define testing and inspection criteria, and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

You will lead CAPA, MRB, and advanced quality planning activities while collaborating with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain. The role requires deep DMAIC, FMEA, APQP/PPAP experience and strong data analysis skills to drive process improvements and

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 8–12 years of related quality engineering experience.
• Knowledge of DMAIC, FMEA, APQP, SPC and Lean methods; ISO/AS standards.
• Experience with design for quality and APQP/PPAP processes.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional quality activities.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement quality plans for products and components.
• Define metrics, testing methods, and inspection procedures across lifecycle.
• Coordinate with Quality Technicians and inspectors; define gates.
• Lead MRB, CAPA, and corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Perform risk assessments and apply FMEA/DOE methods for mitigation.
• Contribute to APQP/PPAP and product readiness reviews.
• Analyze quality data for trends and drive improvements.
