Job summary

Doyon Management Services, LLC (DMS) seeks a Quality Control Manager to lead the QC program on construction projects, reporting to project and corporate management. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with contract requirements, standards, and specifications across multiple teams and projects.

The QCM will develop project quality plans, review submittals, coordinate with QA personnel, and mentor QC staff while applying USACE QC processes to achieve excellence in safety and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of construction quality control experience.
• Experience working on USACE/NAVFAC projects.
• Certified QC Specialist/Manager on federal construction projects.
• CQM-C certification or ability to obtain/renew.
• Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability managing multiple design teams through Design/Build phases.
• Strong proficiency in USACE QCS and/or RMS.
• Proficiency with MS Office, esp. Excel.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage the Quality Control Plan for assigned construction projects.
• Read and interpret complex contract specifications, documents, and drawings.
• Interpret various technical instructions and analytic data; manage RFIs and submittals.
• Mentor Quality Control Specialists and supervise Inspectors.
• Coordinate with QA personnel and authorities; lead meetings and action tracking.
• Implement USACE Three Phase QC Process across projects.
