Tuckman-Barbee Construction Company Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Manager to ensure all projects meet the highest standards. The role requires at least five years in construction, including two years as a QC Manager, and familiarity with USACE EM 385-1-1.

Responsibilities include developing QC procedures, conducting inspections, approving materials, training staff, and communicating with the Project Manager and stakeholders. A current CQM certificate is preferred or must be obtained.

Formación

• Minimum of five years of combined experience in construction leadership roles.
• Familiarity with USACE EM 385-1-1 requirements.
• Experience in hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in construction management or related fields.
• Familiarity with construction management software.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Deadline and detail-oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Approve or reject materials and workmanship.
• Monitor the progress of projects and identify potential problems early on.
• Train and supervise quality control personnel.
• Communicate with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and other stakeholders on quality matters.
• Complete the course entitled "Construction Quality Management (CQM for Contractors)" and maintain a current certificate.
