Barnard Construction Company, Inc. seeks an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager to lead quality programs on major heavy civil projects in the U.S.

You will oversee field engineering, testing, procurement, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with USACE standards and project requirements. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, 10+ years in construction with 3+ years in CQC management, and USACE CQM-C certification.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Must be willing to travel and relocate domestically and internationally.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of construction experience, with at least 3 years in CQC management on related projects.
• Experience on 2 or more Federal Projects preferred.
• Have served as Construction Quality Control Manager on at least 2 heavy civil projects with construction value of $50 million or more.
• Familiarity with USACE 3 Phases of Control System required.
• USACE CQM-C Certification required.
• Familiarity with RCC, Soil Cement, and large dam or water infrastructure construction preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good attention to detail and rigor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Extensive knowledge of ASTM, ACI, CWI, AASHTO standards and QC databases preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develops, maintains, and verifies implementation of Quality programs for the Project, overseeing direct hire work and Sub-Contractors.
• Manages and coordinates Quality activities across field engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Maintains client liaison and communicates quality progress as directed by the Project Manager.
• Reviews, audits, and surveys Quality activities and reports issues and progress to management.
• Develops, reviews, and submits daily QC logs, Quality Control Testing Database, and required submittals to the Client.
• Salary range reflects total compensation, including allowances and retirement contributions.
