Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead our quality program across concrete products for commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. You will build and mentor a team of technicians, interpret test results, and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires 3–5 years in Ready Mix QC management, knowledge of concrete testing methods, and proficiency with QA software; ACI certification is preferred, with shifts including day and overnight.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Ready Mix Concrete Quality Control management.
• ACI certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of concrete technology, testing methods, and QA best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with quality management software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized analyses of raw materials, in-process, and finished concrete products using industry-standard methods.
• Interpret test results, compare findings to specifications and control limits, and make recommendations for product release.
• Perform visual inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with production, operations, sales, and technical services teams to identify and resolve production challenges affecting quality.
• Develop and implement quality control training programs for production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate, organized records of tests, analyses, and quality-related activities.
• Stay current with trends, technologies, and regulations in the concrete industry to improve QC processes.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire the team to uphold SRM’s reputation for excellence.
