Job summary

RRD in Durham, NC is seeking a Quality & Compliance Lead to oversee the site Quality Management System (QMS) and drive continuous improvement across cost, quality, and efficiency.

You will mentor staff, lead audits, manage CAPAs, and partner with leadership to embed sustainable best practices, while ensuring documentation controls and regulatory alignment.

A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience, plus internal audit credentials, are required; Overtime and EHS initiatives are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in discipline related to functional work is required.
• 5+ years relevant experience is required.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and identify critical elements.
• Strong business acumen and collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Understanding of ISO quality management systems and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership for QMS ensuring compliance with ISO and corporate standards.
• Performs root cause analysis and supports corrective actions for high-risk accounts.
• Reviews CAPAs, spoilage incidents, and ensures risk of recurrence is reduced.
• Oversees internal audits and QMS metrics, sharing findings in Management Reviews.
• Develops advanced process improvement methodologies to optimize cost, quality, efficiency.
• Leads improvement projects, including EHS program development and sustainability.
• Monitors quality training requirements and maintains trained resources.
• Ensures documentation and record retention conformance with company standards.
• Assists in identifying and implementing proactive injury-reduction programs.
• Provides expertise in EHS initiatives and change management.
