Job summary

RRD in Durham seeks a quality leader to drive the site Quality Management System, ensuring ISO alignment and continual performance improvement. You will mentor staff, lead high-impact projects, and partner with leadership to embed sustainable quality practices across operations.

You will oversee audits, CAPAs, and documentation controls while advancing process excellence and EHS initiatives, shaping a culture of quality and safety site-wide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in discipline related to quality or operations.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in QA/QMS roles.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and develop CAPAs.
• Strong communication and leadership across all levels.
• Experience leading internal audits and management reviews.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory requirements (cGMP, SOC2+ preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for QMS and ensure ISO compliance.
• Support root cause analysis and CAPA development for high-risk accounts.
• Review CAPAs, spoilage incidents, and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Oversee internal audits and QMS performance metrics with management reviews.
• Develop and deploy advanced process improvement methods to reduce cost and improve quality.
• Lead improvement projects including EHS program development and sustainability.
• Ensure training requirements and document control standards are met.
• Mentor junior staff in quality practices and tool usage.
• Identify and implement proactive programs to reduce injuries and incidents.
