Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology in Falls Church, VA is seeking a Quality Assurance Senior Manager to lead the portfolio-wide quality framework for the VBA portfolio, ensuring compliance with VA standards and GDIT policies. You will shape quality strategy, governance, and execution across programs.

You will build and lead the Quality Team, manage subcontractors, drive continuous improvement, and oversee QA metrics, audits, and PBSA/CPARS readiness to sustain high-quality government

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, business, or related field.
• 10+ years of enterprise quality management experience, preferably in government services.
• Experience implementing portfolio-level quality frameworks.
• Hands-on quality oversight of complex programs with strict compliance.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary quality teams and managing subcontractors.
• Familiarity with VA requirements (QASP, PBSA, COOP/DR, security & privacy).
• Knowledge of VA systems and quality processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Portfolio Quality Governance & Framework Development across the VBA portfolio.
• Build and manage the Quality Team; oversee internal staff and subcontractors.
• Ensure VA requirements are met and quality plans are integrated into program deliverables.
• Provide QA inputs for PMPs, kickoffs, status meetings, and progress reports.
• Maintain QA processes aligned with VA performance-based contracting and PBSA/CPARS.
• Support COOP/DR quality oversight and disaster recovery readiness.
• Establish metrics and drive continuous improvement across the portfolio.
