The role requires 5–7+ years in QA/QE with automation, strong API testing, Salesforce experience, and solid Agile practice.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years as a QA or QE engineer with hands-on automation.
• Proficient with Playwright and TypeScript for automated scripts.
• Knowledge of automation framework architecture and test design patterns.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger).
• Experience testing Salesforce and full-stack apps (UI, API, integration, data).
• Version control experience (GitHub, Bitbucket, SourceTree).
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Zephyr Scale.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience and cross-functional collaboration.
• Security and performance testing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Partner with developers, product managers and analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Automate coverage for functional, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests.
• Build and maintain scalable automated frameworks and Playwright scripts.
• Develop and execute automated API tests to validate functionality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot issues with developers and provide timely feedback.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
• Harden regression suites to ensure release readiness.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor results.
• Convert manual test cases into automated coverage to capture domain knowledge.
• Stay current with fintech trends and testing best practices.
