Kapitus, Inc. is seeking a senior QA engineer to design, build, and maintain automated regression suites using Playwright and TypeScript across UI, API, and data layers. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to translate requirements into robust tests.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years as a QA or QE engineer with hands-on test automation.
• Proficient in Playwright with TypeScript for automated tests.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger.
• Experience testing Salesforce and full-stack apps across UI/API/integration/data layers.
• Familiar with Git-based version control and Jira/Confluence/Zephyr Scale.

Responsibilities

• Partner with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Automate functional, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Build and maintain scalable Playwright-based automation frameworks and scripts.
• Develop and execute automated API tests to validate system functionality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot with developers to identify and resolve issues, providing timely feedback.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives.
• Harden regression suites for release readiness and reliability.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor results.
• Convert manual test cases into automated coverage to preserve domain knowledge.
• Stay current with fintech trends and best practices in QA and the financial domain.
