Job summary

Kapitus is seeking senior QA engineers to design and build automated regression suites. You will work across product teams, crafting Playwright/TypeScript automation, validating APIs, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with Salesforce and full-stack validation is highly valued. You will collaborate with developers, product managers and analysts to convert manual tests into automation, ensuring release readiness and software reliability while staying current with fintech

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of QA/EQE engineering with hands-on test-automation experience.
• Proficient in writing, debugging and reviewing automated test scripts with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of automation framework architecture, test design patterns and quality practices.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger.
• Experience testing Salesforce solutions and full-stack applications (UI/API/integration/data).
• Version control with GitHub, Bitbucket, and SourceTree; Jira for tracking; Confluence and Zephyr Scale for docs.
• Solid Agile/Scrum experience and excellent analytical, communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with developers, product managers and analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Automate coverage across functional, API, integration, regression and end-to-end scenarios.
• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks and Playwright scripts in TS.
• Develop automated API tests to validate system functionality and integrations.
• Troubleshoot with developers and provide timely feedback.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint rituals.
• Harden regression suites and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Convert manual test cases to automated coverage to capture domain knowledge.
