  • Support continuous improvement to enhance automation coverage and software quality.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with expertise in Playwright, TypeScript, and enterprise web automation to design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for business-critical web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation framework development, API testing, CI/CD integration, and quality engineering best practices to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
  • Develop and execute automated functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end test cases for enterprise web applications.
  • Collaborate with QA, Development, Business Analysis, and Product teams to understand requirements and define comprehensive test coverage.
  • Build reusable automation components, utilities, and testing libraries to improve maintainability and execution efficiency.
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain and enhance automation scripts as application features evolve.
  • Participate in code reviews and promote automation engineering standards and best practices.
  • Prepare and communicate test execution reports, quality metrics, and testing status updates to stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation coverage, reliability, and overall software quality.
Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with TypeScript.
  • Proven experience developing scalable automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Extensive experience automating enterprise web applications.
  • Strong understanding of functional, smoke, regression, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
  • Practical experience implementing the Page Object Model (POM) and automation design patterns.
  • Experience testing RESTful APIs and validating API functionality.
  • Experience integrating automation frameworks with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Proficiency with Git version control.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
