Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Quality Control professional in Overland Park, KS to implement and maintain project quality plans. You will interface with project sites, procurement inspections, corporate offices, and clients while overseeing site QC staff on assigned projects.

You will coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, regulatory reps, and field personnel to ensure first-time quality and compliance with codes and specifications, while managing documentation and turnover packages for

Qualifications

3+ years of construction supervision with degree, or 5+ years without.
Pre-employment onboarding requirements may include background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search per laws.
Certification in discipline (e.g.: AWS, CWI, ISM) or relevant geographical equivalent is desired.

Responsibilities

Establishes and maintains site quality program.
Coordinates with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, regulatory reps, and field to ensure work is done correctly the first time.
Ensures on-site work meets applicable codes and specs.
Audits site Contractor Quality Control Programs and documents inspections/actions.
Reviews documentation for certification of construction and testing equipment.
Assists in punchlist coordination and handover to Owner/Startup.
Manages quality documentation and interfaces with clients and officials.
