Black & Veatch Family of Companies in Beech Island, SC, seeks a Site Quality Control Manager for a power plant project. The role interfaces with sites, procurement inspections, corporate offices, and clients to manage Field QC staff on assigned project sites.

The ideal candidate has extensive site QC experience, understands codes and specs, and can lead quality programs while coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, and regulators.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Superintendent with degree, or 8+ years without.

Responsibilities

• Establishes, implements and maintains site quality program.
• Coordinates with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, regulatory representatives and field to ensure work is done correctly.
• Assures on-site work meets applicable codes and specifications.
• Develops and administers site-specific Quality Programs.
• Surveillance/Audits of site Contractor Quality Control Programs.
• Responsible for welder qualification on-site testing.
• Oversees PWHT and NDE coordination and testing documentation.
• Reviews turnover packages prior to handoff to Startup.
• Supports punchlist inspections and manages punchlist.
• Interfaces with clients and government officials.
