Job summary

EnergySolutions is seeking a QC Manager in Clinton, TN to lead quality control programs for nuclear facility fabrication. You will oversee QC inspectors, manage vendor evaluations, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement across projects.

The role requires extensive QA/NDT expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate multiple activities in a fast-paced environment. Travel and site work are possible as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in quality control
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience
• Experience developing QC programs for nuclear facility fabrication
• Certification as weld inspector in RT, PT and MT NDT
• Strong vendor evaluation and QA/regulatory knowledge

Responsibilities

• Establishes and implements QC efforts to ensure regulatory compliance and product conformance
• Oversees supplier performance and inspection of delivered products
• Leads and trains QC staff; sets work goals and provides coaching
• Develops and maintains QC plans and inspection checklists for fabrication
• Reviews vendor submittals (WPS, PWIs, NDE) and performs independent inspections
• Manages budget and monitors variances; ensures policy compliance
